I absolutely cannot believe that my girls are turning 6 this year! We were finally able to get the twins to agree on a theme, so I ran with it before they could change their minds! I am absolutely obsessed with how it all turned out!
THE INSPO
When I plan a party, I always start with an inspo board! Pink, purple, blue, and pastel yellow are the colors. For decor, I found giant versions of my girls’ favorite desserts. Balloons are a must, and Pinterest is a gold mine for favor inspo!π
THE FLATLAY
Confetti: @laurenglassdesigns
Paper goods: @ellieandpiperco
Cookies: @sweetiesbakerytx
Lauren from @laurenglassdesigns made the confetti and she brought the sparkle to the tablescapes! She brought all the pastels and glitter that I wanted. @ellieandpiperco are always my go-tos when it comes to paper goods! I included all the signature baking items in the flatlay as well such as, baking pins, whisks, and disco balls for a needed extra sparkle! @sweetiesbakerytx made the cookies and they are always a hit!
Another craft featured is the whisk favors! They are super easy, all you need is straws and some pipe cleaners. I used pink striped and dotted straws to match the rest of the colors and silver pipe cleaners to make it look like the metal wires. These turned out so cute for the tablescape!
BIRTHDAY BANNER
When I was thinking of how to bring this party to life, I knew I wanted a paper banner. @ambertonway made my birthday banner vision come to life and better than I ever imagined!! This definitely set the stage for the perfect baking themed party for Lily & Layla! Of course, I adorned the birthday banner area with tons of balloons! π©π»βπ³π
INVITATIONS
For this yearβs birthday invitations, we decided to include an apron for each guest to decorate and wear to the baking party! All of the kiddos loved getting to customize their aprons and made the countdown to party day extra exciting! π©π»βπ³
I made and printed the invitations at @canva
PARTY CUPS
These DIY Party Cups for our baking themed birthday party were so fun to make! π₯€ In the past, I always used cute paper cups for parties but (especially with kids involved) they always ended in spills! This time, I opted for these cups with lids and straws in cute colors, added a quick design using my @cricut, some sparkly tulle I had at homeβ¦and it double as adorable favor and no party spills! ππ»
PARTY FAVORS
For their party favors, we had to go with Squishmallows! My girls are absolutely obsessed with them, so we had to include them in the baking birthday bash π§ I printed out these custom thank you tags, and the girls signed their name for a personal touch. These were an absolute hit!
BAKING BIRTHDAY DIY CAKE DECORATING ACTIVITY
Baking Party Hack π©π»βπ³ππ§I went to the local grocery store bakery, and ordered eight 5-inch two tiered cakes with plain white buttercream and frosting in a variety of pastel colors.
To my surprise, they (shout out to United Supermarket in town for me!) put the colored icing in piping bags or me, saving me even more time! I got all the frosting for the party for only $12 and it saved me SO much time!! ππ»ππ»
EASY AND AFFORDABLE DIY
On Cricut design space I found this adorable image that said βletβs bake some memoriesβ and I knew I had to put them on these cut pink pot holders I found on amazon! The I put all of their tools they will be using to decorate their cakes inside the potholder so it has a function but also looked really cute on our table! ππ©π»βπ³Click HERE for all the supples you will need to recreate this DIY!
TEMU ORDER STYLED FOR PARTY
Shopping for birthday party decor can get really expensive, so hereβs something I did to save some money. I found so many baking supplies on Temu so I put in a big order!
We started off with the cake decorating stands and tools. The girls loved that these were actually turning tables.
I also found these little acrylic boxes to hold the sprinkles and they added an extra something to the table! π§
I found faux babies breath in pink, purple, and white that I was able to use on our table. πΈπͺ»π·
Something really cool that I found was this piping bag holder stand so I can line the table and have all the different colors of icing for the girls to use this not only saved us time because the bags were already filled but it was also added color to the table!

DIY ACRYLIC PARTY SIGNS
When @debtrette shared this 6 pack of acrylic signs, l immediately added to my cart and I’m so glad I did!! l used removable vinyl and it was so easy to take the designs off afterwards, so they’re ready to use for the next party now!

FUN & GAMES
These baking bingo cards were so fun for our guests! The perfect age-appropriate game to play that everyone will enjoy. π©π»βπ³π§
Another way to add a personal touch is adding the girls themselves! The pin the hat on the chef was so much fun, and the girls loved it! These were made with @canva and printed out at our local Walmart. So easy and so fun!
This years Birthday Baking Bash was the best party weβve had for the girls thus far. All the personal touches and fun colorful elements really made it a hit! I hope you found some inspiration from this and tag me in any and all of your baking themed birthday parties!
