Reasons I Love You Mailbox

Kelsey Easterling

What better way to count down the days until Valentine’s than with 14 reasons I love you?!

I made this sweet craft last year for my twin girls that acted as an advent calendar as we read a “love letter” together each day leading up to Valentine’s Day!

It was so special that I’ll be recreating it this year too!

14 Reasons I Love You Countdown:

I found a cardboard mailbox at Target (here’s a similar one) and covered it by hot-gluing pink glitter paper all over.

Then I added embellishments like heart trim and braided chunky yarn attached with hot glue.

Next, I used sticker letters to spell out Reasons I Love You.

For the love letters, I used cardstock paper and wrote different reasons why I loved them,
folded up the paper like an envelope, then used a heart sticker to seal.

I hot glued a piece of yarn of various lengths onto the back of each letter
then glued the other end of the yarn inside the mailbox.

This is one of my favorite projects to date and I can’t wait to get started on this years!
